"Media Clampdown" is now meaningless

Its laughable and also indicative of the power of UGC that the Iraqi government launched a clampdown on media cverage of the Saddam hanging. Pointless to try to control the ‘controllable’ media when citizen journalism and mobile phones are now. Witness the entire hanging on YouTube, literally minutes after it happened.
