Tubes goes down the drain


(sorry, couldn’t resist that pun). Mashable reports that Tubes (TubesNow) the file sharing and synchronisation service is about to close down (on Jan 31st 08).

Mashable also has a chart showing the user drop-off.

    Hello David,

    I (along with my team here at Topaz Partners) used to do PR for Tubes– through October– and really enjoyed promoting the service– everyone was excited about it.

    We were all disappointed that they decided to pull the plug, especially as we actually used the product. Oh well, right?
